Changan UNI-S Launches in Dealerships Nationwide – Experience It This April

  • The Changan UNI-S now available at dealerships across South Africa
  • Nationwide in-dealer launch events scheduled throughout April 2026
  • Customers invited to experience the UNI-S through showroom activations
  • Test drives and exclusive dealership events to drive engagement
  • Reinforcing Changan’s commitment to accessibility and customer connection

From Arrival to Experience – UNI-S Comes to Life in Showrooms

Following its highly anticipated national debut, the Changan UNI-S has officially arrived in dealerships across South Africa. Throughout April, Changan dealerships nationwide will host a series of in-dealer launch events, where customers can engage with the UNI-S firsthand.

Rather than a single launch moment, this rollout brings the vehicle closer to communities – giving South Africans the opportunity to explore, test drive and experience the UNI-S in a more personal way.

A Nationwide, Open Invitation to Experience the UNI-S

Customers are invited to visit their nearest Changan dealership on the following Saturdays:
11 April 2026, 18 April 2026 and 25 April 2026, from 08:00 to 13:00.

Visitors can expect test drives throughout the day, a premium showroom atmosphere with hospitality and refreshments, guided walkarounds with knowledgeable sales teams, interactive displays and partner activations at select dealerships

Designed to Compete. Built to Be Experienced.

Available in three distinct grades – CS, CL and CE – the UNI-S offers a progressive lineup that blends performance, design and intelligent technology. At the UNI-S’s core, you will find an award winning 1.5ℓ turbocharged engine delivering 138kW and 300Nm, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a modern, driver-focused interior with advanced connectivity and safety features.

Some of the most exciting features are the ones you can’t see and need to be experienced, on the road. Like the independent rear suspension, highlighting the focus on elevated engineering quality, in unexpected places. The UNI-S also offers the most complete suite of ADAS technologies in it’s class, completely rewriting the rules for what we have come to expect from the mid-size SUV category.

But the UNI-S isn’t just about what’s on paper. These dealer events are designed to bring those features to life – from the feel of the drive to the detail in the cabin.

Built Around People, Not Just Product

The in-dealer launches are designed to welcome a wide audience – from existing Changan customers and prospective buyers to families, fleet clients and local communities. It’s a deliberate move to position the UNI-S not just as a new vehicle, but as part of everyday South African mobility.

By creating a relaxed, engaging environment with refreshments, partner activations and live experiences, dealerships aim to encourage customers to spend time with the vehicle, ask questions and truly explore what it offers.

From Momentum to Market Impact

These nationwide activations form a critical part of Changan’s broader launch strategy – building on early momentum and translating it into real-world engagement, test drives and customer connection.

Each dealership will feature dedicated UNI-S display and test drive vehicles, ensuring that every visitor has the opportunity to move from curiosity to experience in a single visit.

Now Available. Ready to Evolve.

The arrival of the UNI-S in dealerships marks more than just a product launch – it signals Changan’s continued commitment to growing its presence in South Africa through accessible experiences, strong dealer support and customer-first thinking.

Official launch pricing has been released, with the Changan UNI-S 1.5T AT CS retailing at R389,900.00. The mid-grade CL is expected to cost R429,900.00 - with the range topping CE derivative at R469,900.00. The UNI-S will be available in five colours: Black, Putty Grey, Shadow Grey. Flourite Grey and Moon White.

This April, the invitation is simple: Step into your nearest Changan dealership. Get behind the wheel and experience what’s next, now.
